Guided project
Pi Zero Case
Design a case for a Raspberry Pi Zero: sketch on its faces to hollow it, hold the board and open its ports. About 25 minutes; no Pi needed to make it.
What you'll make
- 01Make the boxsketch an outline, extrude it
- 02Hollow it outsketch on the top face, cut down
- 03Hold the boardsketch on the floor, add posts
- 04Open the portscut openings through the sides

You made a Pi case
A box, then everything else drawn on its own faces: cut down from the top, posts up from the floor, openings in from the sides. That's how most real parts are made. Print it open side up. Next time: a lid.
Print it
Print it open side up. PrusaSlicer estimates about 22 minutes and 10 g of PLA on a Prusa MK3.5 (0.4 mm nozzle, 0.20 mm SPEED profile). Your printer and settings will change that.
Check it worked
Sit a Raspberry Pi Zero on the four posts. Its ports should line up with the openings in the sides.
